 For 16 years Congressman Mel Watt has served the citizens of the12th Congressional District of North Carolina. Over the years his leadership on health care, quality education, community development, justice and advocacy for the most vulnerable in our society has made him one of the most respected Members of Congress. Principle and conscience above politics are his trade marks and his legislative record reflects that. Mel’s leadership is recognized in both Houses of the Congress and in 2004 he was unanimously elected Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus. He was recently ranked by a non-partisan group as the most effective member of the North Carolina Congressional delegation.
Mel needs your support and vote to be re-elected to Congress. We need to re-elect Mel to Congress to continue to build better lives for the citizens of the 12th District and for all of North Carolina and the nation. Let’s give’em Mel again!
